General Physician/Clinical Pharmacologist

Dr Dedigama is specialist physician dual trained in General and Acute care Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. He Completed his Basic Training and Advanced Training at the Flinders Medical Centre (FMC), attaining his fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians ( FRACP ) in 2016. During his advanced training he worked as a cardiology registrar for 12 months at the Flinders Medical Centre and the Royal Darwin Hospital.

Dr Dedigama has a special interest in perioperative Medicine. He completed a Master’s degree in Perioperative Medicine with the Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Monash University. He is currently the clinical lead of the perioperative medicine unit at FMC.
Dr Dedigama holds a public appointment as a consultant physician at Southern Adelaide Local Health network. He is also works as a visiting physician at the Flinders Private Hospital.

Dr Dedigama is an integral part of the Colorectal Specialist Group providing consultation to patients on a wide range of both acute and chronic medical conditions. Along with the Colorectal Specialist Group he provides perioperative consults for other specialties and is happy to receive referrals to review patients privately.
